Panelists
Todd Alessandri, Dean, College of Business, Bryant University
Todd Alessandri is the Dean of the College of Business at Bryant University, and a Professor of Management. He joined Bryant in July 2024. Professor Alessandri came to Bryant from Northeastern University, where he had served most recently as the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs. He also served as Faculty Director of the MBA Program for seven years. Professor Alessandri was also previously on the faculty of Syracuse University and Providence College. Professor Alessandri’s teaching centers on strategic management, with particular emphasis on developing his students’ critical thinking skills and making judgements under uncertainty. He is passionate about experiential learning, integrating client projects into his courses, as well as guiding student teams on real-time consulting projects for multinational companies. Professor Alessandri’s primary research interests involve the intersection of strategy and finance. He has published over 20 articles, including several in top tier academic journals. Professor Alessandri also serves as an Associate Editor for Long Range Planning, and serves on the Editorial Boards of the Journal of Management, Organizational Research Methods, and the Journal of Strategy and Management. Before entering academia, he held positions in corporate finance and auditing. Professor Alessandri earned his B.A. in economics from Connecticut College, an M.B.A. from Boston University and a Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
